There are several things that need help on it yet but we are slowly gaining on it and we are enjoying it very much. We have owned it almost a year now, having purchased it from Mr. Hap Stapley of Malahat, B.C. on Vancouver Island. We learned that it was for sale while we were on last September’s Packard tour. The car is a 1940 Packard 160 Super Eight Touring Sedan. Hap had owned it for several years on Vancouver Island, and prior to that it came from someone's collection in Vancouver, B.C. Beyond that the trail grows cold as to the further history of it. For us it's a toss-up, which Packard we like the best, both the coupe and the sedan are very nice and we enjoy them both so we usually alternate them with the tours that we go on.
